Meeching Lodge No.7001
Consecrated 30th September 1950
75th Anniversary September 2025

The 75th Anniversary of Meeching Lodge No. 7001 was celebrated at the EBMC in the company of the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, VWBro Tony Flint, and the Provincial Grand Master Designate, Assist. Provincial Grand Master WBro Neil Austin, together with a full Provincial Team.
The Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies, WBro John Heal, led the team and directed the ceremonial proceedings with absolute precision.
The highlight of the Anniversary meeting was the dedication of new working tools, which were carried into the Lodge by Bro Paul Waddington. The explanations were delivered with excellence: the First Degree Tools by Bro Alan Bishop; the extended Second Degree Tools by WBro Chris Allen, Bro John Cornish, and WBro Howard Sands; and the Third Degree Tools by Bro Carsten Eastman.
The Provincial Grand Chaplain, WBro Stephen Terry, delivered his customary thought-provoking oration, reflecting on both the dedication of the working tools and the significance of the Lodge’s 75 years of Freemasonry.
WBro Stephen also offered warm commendation to WBro Tom Finlay, who had earlier given a heartfelt Eulogy for the late WBro Brian Heseltine, remarking: “Brother, that was one of the best eulogies for a departed Brother I have heard in 33 years of Freemasonry.”
